18 TEMMUZ 1932: Bir genelgeyle ezanın Arapça okunması yasaklandı. Türkçe çeviri aralarında Hafız Burhan, Sadettin Kaynak, Hafız Nuri gibi ünlü hafızların da bulunduğu komisyon tarafından yapılmıştı. Türkçe ezan plağını Sadettin Kaynak doldurmuş, ilk defa Bursalı Hafız Rıfat Efendi okumuştu.
